  • No. Unfortunately Osteopathy does not fall under MSP so you will have to cover the cost of the session.

  • Osteopathy is covered by many extended benefits plans. However, you do have to verify with your provider the extent of your coverage as it varies for each provider and plan.

  • No. You can consult an osteopathic practitioner without a doctor’s note. If you are experiencing a medical condition or emergency, you should reach out to your doctor and do the appropriate tests prior to consulting your osteopathic practitioner.

  • Please wear comfortable clothing such a sports wear or yoga wear that allows your body for ample movement and being comfortable on the table. The osteopathic practitioner will need access to different body parts so wear clothing that have minimal amount of pockets and extra bulky fabric. Patients should refrain for wearing jeans, jumpsuits and rompers. If you come from work, simply bring a change or clothes with you as you will be allowed to changed before your session.

  • That depends on many factors such as the severity of your problem, the amount of time you have had the problem, you overall level of health or “healing” ability and your overall goals. Most people will feel a noticeable difference within 3 sessions. Keep in mind that your health issue might have taken years to become so debilitating and for this reason, it will not disappear overnight. When consulting for the first time, we will assess your body and have a discussion about our findings and our course of action regarding the frequency of our sessions. We will come up with a treatment plan that is sensitive to your body’s need and that is realistic to your budget.

  • Sessions are booked on the hour for a duration of 50 to 55 min minutes.

  • No. You need to cover the cost of the session at the time of the appointment. You will be provided with a receipt with all the necessary information needed to submit it to your extended health insurance provider.
